How we handle your application data

Who decides how this data is used. Vedly Ventures Private Limited, which runs Medyzen, decides how the information you enter here is used. This notice is complete on its own — you do not need to read anything else to understand it.

What we collect. Your full name and email address, which are required. Your phone number, current location, years of experience, current and expected CTC, LinkedIn link, portfolio link and cover note, each of which is optional. The resume PDF you upload. We also record which job page you applied from, and — if you reached us through a campaign link — the campaign source, medium and name carried in that link, so we know which channels bring us good applicants.

Why we collect it. To assess you for the role named on this page, to contact you about this application, and to keep an internal record of the hiring decision for that role. We ask for your current and expected CTC only to check that the role's budget matches your expectations before we take up your time. If we hire you, this becomes the starting point of your employee record. We do not sell your information, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not share it with other employers or job boards.

Who sees it. Medyzen's hiring team, and the manager for this role. Your resume is held in a private file store; it is never made public and is not shared outside Medyzen. Our cloud hosting, file-storage and error-monitoring providers process it on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

How long we keep it. If we do not hire you, we erase your application and your resume within 12 months of the day you submit it. If we hire you, this information moves into your employee record and is kept under the retention rules for employee records. We keep an application longer only if we are required to by law or if it is the subject of an ongoing dispute.

Your choices. You can withdraw your consent at any time — it takes the same one email as giving it. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email us at founders@medyzen.in with the subject "Careers data request" and the email address you applied with. We will acknowledge within 7 working days and complete your request within 30 days. Withdrawing your consent means we stop considering you for this role and erase what we hold, except anything we are required by law to keep.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
