Privacy Policy

Medyzen ("Medyzen", "we", "us") operates https://www.medyzen.in (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to this website and to how we handle job applications and candidate records; it does not cover Medyzen's hospital-facing operational systems or any Medyzen mobile applications, which are governed by their own terms.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you submit the contact form or a call-booking request, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, hospital or clinic name, and the message you send. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Job applicants

If you applied through our form. If you apply for a role through our Careers pages, we collect the details you enter in the application form — your name, email address, phone number, current location, years of experience, current and expected CTC, whether you are looking for a full-time role or an internship, LinkedIn and portfolio links and cover note — along with the resume file you upload, the job page you applied from, and any campaign source, medium and campaign name carried in the link you arrived through. We use this to assess you for the role and to contact you about your application. Your resume is stored in a private file store and is not published. Each Careers page carries its own full notice.

If we added your details from a shortlist. Your details can reach us without you filling in our application form — for example from a shortlist drawn for a role we advertised elsewhere. In that case we hold only what the shortlist carries: your name, email address, phone number, institution and qualification. We hold no resume and no CTC figure. We also hold no consent from you: no consent was collected and none is implied. We email you a notice setting out exactly what we hold, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed — and until that notice has gone out, we send you nothing else at all. You can tell us to stop, and to erase what we hold, at any time, and you do not have to give a reason.

In either case you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it, at any time, using the contact details below. Where you did give consent, you can also withdraw it; withdrawing it means we stop considering you for the role. If we do not hire you, we erase your record, including any resume, within 12 months of the date we record against your application — the date you submitted it, or, where we added your details from a shortlist, the date that shortlist was drawn. If we hire you, the information becomes part of your employee record and is kept under the retention rules for employee records.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site automatically collects some technical data when you visit — your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps. We collect this through:

• Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager — usage and traffic analytics.
• Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — aggregated, privacy-focused traffic and performance metrics.

We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not run behavioral advertising or ad-retargeting on the Site.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies set by the analytics tools above to distinguish visitors and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will continue to function without them, though analytics may be less accurate.

How we use information

• To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form or call-booking request.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site — understanding which pages are useful and where visitors run into problems.
• To maintain records of business enquiries for our own reference.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our systems — our cloud hosting and file-storage providers, our analytics providers, and our error-monitoring provider — each of which processes it on our instructions and for no purpose of its own. Internally, it is seen only by the Medyzen team members who need it for the purpose it was collected for. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data retention

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and keep a record of the interaction, after which we delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at founders@medyzen.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.

You can contact us about how we process your personal data at founders@medyzen.in. We will acknowledge a request within 7 working days and complete it within 30 days, and in no case later than 90 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for hospital administrators, clinic owners, and other business visitors, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
