Human Resources Generalist
Job ID: E9701A1DAbout Company:
Medyzen is a managed hospital pharmacy company operating across India. We partner with hospitals, clinics and nursing homes to run fully licensed, professionally staffed in-house pharmacies — handling drug licensing, pharmacist staffing, inventory, compliance and fulfilment end to end. Founded in 2025, we focus on bringing reliable, well-run pharmacy infrastructure to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The Role:
Medyzen is growing across engineering, operations, warehouse and delivery, and each of those hires looks different. This role owns the practical side of that: finding people, running a clean hiring process, and making sure someone's first week works.
It is a generalist role at an early-stage company, so it spans recruitment, onboarding, records and day-to-day employee support rather than one narrow specialism.
Responsibilities:
- Run hiring end to end: sourcing, screening, scheduling, keeping candidates informed.
- Own onboarding so a new joiner has what they need on day one.
- Maintain employee records, attendance and leave accurately and confidentially.
- Be the first point of contact for employee questions, and escalate what needs escalating.
- Help keep our people practices compliant with Indian employment law.
Qualifications:
- 0–2 years in an HR, recruitment or people-operations role.
- Clear written and spoken communication — you are the first impression a candidate gets.
- Discretion. You will handle personal data about people's pay, health and performance.
- Organised enough to run several hiring processes at once without dropping anyone.
- Familiarity with Indian employment and payroll basics is useful, not essential.
Why Join Us?
- You set up the people side of a young company from scratch — hiring, onboarding, policies — instead of inheriting someone else's.
- Real hiring from day one: engineers, designers, pharmacists and field sales, across cities, not one profile on repeat.
- A small team, so you work directly with the founders and your calls shape how the company grows.
- Remote-first, with written decisions and the expectation that a process exists because it helps someone, not because HR needs one.
