What Fluconazole 150 mg is used for
- Vaginal yeast infection (candidiasis) – usually a single 150 mg dose.
- Fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea), when creams alone are not enough, as prescribed.
- Oral thrush and oesophageal candidiasis.
- Preventing fungal infections in people with weak immunity, under a doctor's care.
- Fungal nail infections (longer courses, as decided by a doctor).

Forcan 150 – how many tablets for vaginal infection?
Usually a single 150 mg tablet. Some doctors repeat it after 3 days for severe or recurrent infections. Do not keep taking it weekly without a prescription.
Can I take Forcan 150 with alcohol?
Best avoided. Both fluconazole and alcohol are processed by the liver; the risk is higher with repeated weekly doses.
Forcan 150 before or after food?
Either. Food does not affect fluconazole absorption.
Is Fluconazole 150 safe in pregnancy?
Generally avoided, especially repeated doses in early pregnancy. Doctors usually prefer vaginal clotrimazole in pregnancy. Ask your doctor.
