What Ofloxacin 200 mg is used for
- Urinary tract infections and prostate infections.
- Bacterial diarrhoea and typhoid-like fevers, as decided by a doctor.
- Chest infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia caused by sensitive bacteria.
- Skin and soft tissue infections and some sexually transmitted infections.

What is Oflox 200 used for?
It is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections of the urinary tract, gut, chest, skin and some sexually transmitted infections. It does not work for viral fevers, colds or flu.
Oflox 200 before or after food?
Either. Take it with a full glass of water about 12 hours apart, and keep it 2 hours away from antacids, iron, zinc or calcium tablets.
Can I take Oflox 200 with alcohol?
Avoid alcohol during the course. It worsens dizziness, stomach upset and dehydration and can hide early warning signs of side effects.
Oflox 200 vs Oflox OZ – what is the difference?
Oflox 200 is ofloxacin alone. Oflox OZ adds ornidazole, which also treats amoebic and other parasitic gut infections. Your doctor chooses based on the likely cause of the infection.
