- Preventing heart attack and stroke in people with diabetes, high blood pressure or other risk factors.
- After a heart attack, stent or stroke, to prevent another event.
- Inherited high cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolaemia).

What is Rosuvas 20 used for?
Rosuvas 20 contains rosuvastatin 20 mg, a statin. It lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol and triglycerides and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke, especially in people who already have heart disease or diabetes.
Rosuvas 10 vs Rosuvas 20 – why was my dose increased?
Doctors increase the dose when the cholesterol target is not met on 10 mg, or when a higher-intensity dose is needed after a heart attack or stent. The decision is based on your lipid report and risk level.
Should I take Rosuvas 20 at night?
Rosuvastatin lasts long enough to be taken at any time of day. Many people take it at night out of habit; what matters is taking it at the same time every day.
Can I take Rosuvas 20 with alcohol?
Occasional moderate drinking is usually acceptable, but heavy or regular alcohol increases the risk of liver damage with statins. Discuss your intake with your doctor.
