Frequently asked questions

When should I take Envas 5?

At the same time each day, once or twice daily as prescribed. Your doctor may suggest the first dose at bedtime because of dizziness; after that, morning is usual.

Why do I have a dry cough on Envas?

A persistent dry cough is a classic side effect of ACE inhibitors such as enalapril. If it bothers you, your doctor can switch you to an ARB like telmisartan or losartan.

Envas 5 vs Envas 2.5 – what is the difference?

Only the strength. Doctors often start with 2.5 mg, especially in heart failure or older people, and move up to 5 mg or more once blood pressure and kidney tests allow.

Can I take Envas 5 with alcohol?

Keep it minimal. Alcohol adds to the blood pressure drop and dizziness.
