What is Siphene 50 used for?
Siphene contains clomiphene citrate 50 mg, a medicine that makes the ovaries release an egg. It is prescribed for women who are not ovulating regularly – most often because of PCOS – to help them conceive.
On which day of the period should I start Siphene 50?
Most doctors start it between day 2 and day 5 of the menstrual cycle (counting the first day of bleeding as day 1) and continue for 5 days. Follow your gynaecologist's exact instructions, because the start day affects follicle growth and timing of ovulation.
When does ovulation happen after Fertomid 50?
Usually 5 to 10 days after the last tablet, so roughly day 12 to day 17 of the cycle. Your doctor may do ultrasound scans to track the follicle and advise the best days for intercourse or IUI.
What is the chance of twins with clomiphene?
