What is Mintop Forte 5% used for?
Mintop Forte contains minoxidil 5%, applied to the scalp to slow hair loss and regrow hair in male pattern baldness. It works on the crown and top of the head; it does not restore a receding hairline much.
Mintop 2% vs Mintop Forte 5% – which one should I use?
5% is the usual strength for men and works better than 2%. Women are often started on 2% because 5% can cause unwanted facial hair; a dermatologist may still prescribe 5% for women.
How long does Tugain 5% take to show results?
At least 4 months of twice-daily use, and up to a year, before you can judge. Many people shed more hair in the first 2 to 6 weeks – this is expected and usually settles.
Will my hair fall out if I stop Tugain?
Yes. Minoxidil only works while you use it. Most new hair is lost within a few months of stopping, so it is a long-term commitment.
