Is Alprax 0.5 a sleeping pill?
It is an anti-anxiety medicine that also causes drowsiness, so doctors sometimes use it briefly for sleep. It is not meant as a regular sleeping pill – tolerance and dependence develop within weeks.
Is Trika 0.5 habit-forming?
Yes. Alprazolam causes dependence with regular use, and stopping suddenly causes withdrawal symptoms including rebound anxiety and, rarely, seizures. Use it only for the short period prescribed and let your doctor taper it.
Can I take Alprax with alcohol?
No. Alcohol and alprazolam together can cause severe drowsiness, memory blackouts and dangerously slowed breathing.
