Medyzen is a managed hospital pharmacy company operating across India. We partner with hospitals, clinics and nursing homes to run fully licensed, professionally staffed in-house pharmacies — handling drug licensing, pharmacist staffing, inventory, compliance and fulfilment end to end. Founded in 2025, we focus on bringing reliable, well-run pharmacy infrastructure to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

The Role:

Medyzen runs a pharmacy platform end to end — patients order medicines and upload prescriptions in the mobile app, hospitals and warehouses fulfil them through their own dashboards, and riders deliver them. All of it is served by one Go API.

You would work on that API: order flow, inventory, prescriptions, payments, and the internal tooling the operations team relies on. It is a small team, so you will own features from schema to endpoint to the panel that consumes them, and you will see them in production the same week.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain REST endpoints in Go, backed by PostgreSQL, that the patient app, three internal dashboards and the kiosk all consume.
  • Design schema changes and write migrations that are safe to run against live data.
  • Write tests that actually exercise the database, not just mocks.
  • Debug production issues across the stack and fix the cause, not the symptom.
  • Review teammates' changes with an eye to correctness, data integrity and access control.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years writing backend services professionally, in Go or another statically typed language you can transfer from.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational modelling — indexes, transactions, and why a query is slow.
  • Comfort with HTTP API design, authentication and role-based access control.
  • Git, code review, and the habit of leaving a system better documented than you found it.
  • Care about handling health and payment data correctly. We are regulated, and it matters.
