Telma H morning or night?
Morning is usual, because the hydrochlorothiazide makes you urinate more in the first few hours and taking it late can disturb sleep. Keep the same time every day.
Can I take Telma H with alcohol?
Avoid or limit alcohol – it increases dizziness and dehydration with the water pill.
Telma H vs Telma 40 – which is stronger?
Telma H contains telmisartan 40 mg plus the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg, so it lowers BP more than Telma 40 alone. It is usually prescribed when telmisartan alone is not enough.
Does Telma H cause frequent urination?
Yes, mildly, especially in the first few hours after the dose, because of hydrochlorothiazide. This usually becomes less noticeable over time.
