What Evening primrose oil 1000 mg is used for
- Promoted for premenstrual symptoms (PMS) and breast pain – NIH finds it probably no better than a placebo for breast pain and not enough evidence for PMS.
- Promoted for eczema (atopic dermatitis) – taken by mouth it has not been shown to help.
- Used by some women for menopause symptoms – there is insufficient evidence that it works.
