What Rabeprazole + Domperidone 20 mg + 30 mg (SR) is used for
- Acid reflux (GERD) with heartburn, bloating and feeling of fullness after meals.
- Nausea and vomiting linked to acidity or slow stomach emptying.
- Functional dyspepsia – indigestion with no ulcer on testing.
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers, when nausea is also a problem.
Frequently asked questions
Razo-D before or after food?
Before food. Take it 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast so the acid-blocker is active when your stomach starts producing acid, and the domperidone helps the meal pass through.
Can I take Veloz D daily for months?
Not without a doctor's review. Domperidone is meant for short courses because of a small heart-rhythm risk with longer use, and long-term rabeprazole can lower magnesium and B12. Most courses are 2 to 4 weeks.
Razo-D vs Razo 20 – which one do I need?
Razo 20 is rabeprazole alone, for acidity. Razo-D adds domperidone for nausea, bloating and slow stomach emptying. If your main problem is heartburn without nausea, the plain tablet is usually enough.
Can I take Razo-D with alcohol?
Avoid alcohol while treating reflux; it increases acid, relaxes the valve at the top of the stomach and undoes the benefit of the medicine.
